I break it down with real-world examples:

Bitcoin → The ultimate tokenized receipt of energy expenditure. Trustless, fractional, fungible, and it actually creates a free-market price for energy. Yield goes to the miners who take the real-world risk.

USDT / Digital Dollars → Filling the gap in collapsing economies, but still relies on trust and struggles with true yield.

Gold → Fractional and somewhat fungible… but you can never make it truly trustless or provable without a third party.

Real Estate → The most exciting one. I explore a practical path (especially in El Salvador) where tokens could let locals step into debt-free home ownership: buy fractional tokens → earn rental yield → compound into full ownership → burn the tokens and take the physical property. No debt, real utility, real success stories.

Most tokens fail because they’re trying to compete with Bitcoin’s store-of-value dominance instead of solving a genuine accounting problem in the physical world. Bitcoin already won that game.
